Doily from last summer - nuntium ducentesimum undenonagesimum

My elder daughter tats and last summer we decided to make a Renulek doily together, she doing one round then I the other.  This one is called DAISY, here's the pattern.  We used ecru and herbal garden, size 20 and found out that one of us tats much more tightly than the other.  Guess which is which?

We completed it this spring but I never posted about it so here it is!

  1. Oh wow, I’m glad to see the finished result, it’s really lovely! It’s not easy to work in collaboration, well done to you both. Who keeps it??

  2. Oh, it's so pretty! I had forgotten about that doily. It's so nice to see that the two of you finished it. I can imagine the two of you talking about that project for many years to come!

  3. How lovely to share a craft with your daughter. I enjoying sharing tatting with my sister although we live a distance away. The doily is beautiful, love the colours.

  5. I love everything about it but most especially that you did it with your beloved daughter! I envision my granddaughters tatting one day but not my daughter or daughter-in-love. They are busy and tatting is time consuming.

It should be submitted to the Ramsey County fair. Next summer?
