nuntium centesimum quadrigesimum quintum (145th post) 3D flowers?

Fox inspired me to blog more.  It's not that I don't want to.

So, I've been making crosses, crosses and crosses.  All size 20 Lizbeth.  Surprisingly, I won one of the divisions at Zigzag Corner so I had a huge prize and my neighbor gave me a gift certificate so I went hog wild and ordered one of everything.

Julie Patterson's cross

Why so many crosses?  Well, anyone who invites their old Latin teacher to graduation gets one and this is my daughter's senior year so I figure I might get a few invites.

motif #24 (my own design!)
This little creature is my very own invention although I suspect others have invented it before.  Our goddaughter will have her First Communion in May so I'm working on a veil for her.  Really more of a headpiece than a veil.  I'm quite pleased with myself for starting so early but I imagine I will still be sewing it together on the way there....

I've also been doing the TIAS which I love.  I love tatting the same thing with people all over the world. No picture because the only picture I have is from a few days ago.   For so, so many years I was the only tatter except Aunt Rose-E and she lived 10 hours away so to have the community of Tat-land is absolutely wonderful.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
