nuntium centesimum decimum quartum (114th post) Happy Heart earrings

Here are my Valentine's Day earrings.  The pattern is Frivole's Happy Heart and those are Catherine Wheel Joins with size 70 thread!  I am so proud of myself.
Majestic white, size 70
I put some beads in the center and at the bottom just for sparkle which you can't see in this picture- sigh.

Here they are with a dime for size reference.

When did I finish them?  February 16th.  haha.  Next year, I guess.

Latin for today:  ad annum proximam = until next year.

  1. These are very beautiful, and perfectly tatted with those Catherine Wheel joins, in size 70 thread! I still haven't mastered that technique - in size 20 thread! It's an excellent design and a perfect heart shape! And hearts are never out of season! I can see the beads and imagine they add a nice bling!

  3. Those are so pretty!! Since I finally have my ear re-pierced from where one of them close up on me, I get a little excited when I see or think of tatted earrings! Now, if my piercing would just hurry up and heal! lol

  8. Well done, a very pretty heart once you've mastered those Catherine wheel joins! Good idea to use fine thread and beads to make earrings.

  9. They look wonderful Michelle! I'd not thought to try the heart in such a fine thread but you've done a great job of them.
