Moving through these Lizbeth Metallic samples, I came across one that seemed to wind forever. Turns out it's not Lizbeth Metallic. It's something called SIM STJ-C037H3 (I think, my writing is very cryptic here.)
The thread is tiny, maybe comparable to size 70? But it really tats up nicely. Here it is next to the size 20 Lizbeth. Lovely color too. This is Robin Perfetti's Rose Snowflake too.
Happy blogaversary!
ReplyDeleteVery delicate and pretty. I’m guessing no one got round to giving the thread a proper name!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 300th post! Fugit inreparabile tempus...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations 🍨🍻
ReplyDeleteLovely ❄❄❄❄❄
Lovely snowflakes... in one of my favourite colours! :-)
ReplyDelete300 posts! Yay! I haven't tried that thread yet, but it sure is pretty! You are going to have a very sparkly Christmas tree!
ReplyDeleteWow I never thought to count how many posts I've made😁 and this snowflake is great💙
ReplyDeleteWonderful snowflake in both threads
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pattern in both sizes. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 300 posts! I'm amazed how much tatting you do, considering you have a full time job teaching!
I was reviewing your early posts going back to 2011 (you obviously were not a beginner!) and I found your October post with Ruth Perry's Celtic woven pumpkin, and I remembered how 'annoyed' I was with myself that I couldn't do even that 'simple' pumpkin - and I still can't! Cindy had success, also! Back then I tried over and over - just with a piece of thick yarn (no tatting) and couldn't figure out how to weave it! There was no reason to tat a chain if I couldn't figure out how to weave it!
You also did an amazing Quatrain runner that took two years! I assume it's still being admired!
I'm also envious of your trips to Rome. I think I would be overwhelmed if I ever went there in person, especially to the Forum. I often 'go' to Rome via Google Street View, which is amazing in itself, especially in 3D. I almost feel that I would know my way around the heart of the city!
