Gone but not forgotten - nuntium centesimum octogesimum septimum

I made this bracelet last winter.  I love it.

Lizbeth, Herbal Garden size 20

It's my favorite thing I've made to wear so far.  I wore it today and LOST IT.

sigh.

UPDATE!  One of my students found it today and turned it in!  WAHOO!

  1. Oh, no! The good news is you can make yourself another one, right? But maybe this one will show up again soon. We can hope.

  3. Nooooo! it was so beautiful. I don’t like most tatted jewellery, but that bracelet was superb. : (

  4. Oh that is so sad, as Fox says the bracelet is so beautiful. Must buy that thread too, it tats up wonderfully.

  6. Oh, no! I hope it turns up. If not, I hope the finder appreciates the workmanship and decides to learn to tat.

  8. Beauty is ephemeral. But, gee. Hugs. Hoping it is just hiding and not lost.

  9. I am so glad that you have your bracelet back, how nice of the young man to hand it in.

  10. It really is a very pretty bracelet Michelle... is that not the pattern for a bookmark called "Jane's Bookmark" or something like that? I like your addition of beads, it's perfect.

    1. You're exactly right! Mir is Jane's bookmark, certainly a pleasing pattern to do.

  11. Glad I read this after the 'Update'! Whew! I have lost and then found some tatted items and was always so glad to see them, after I had assumed they were lost forever! Was the clasp the problem? I've often wondered if that type is secure enough.

    1. Yes, I blame the clasp. It is easier to put on by myself but essentially worthless- so I've discovered- if you'real active.
