The thread is glorious HDT from Anika who dyed it specially for me for shamrocks but I loved it so much I had to make something else with it too!
On Pinterest (evil, time-sucking invention), I saw this and thought I could do it with my vintage threads from Aunt Rose-E. My sister, queen of finding everything anyone could ever need, found these large Vlasic pickle jars for me. But I think I need a 4th one! Or two smaller ones.
Your little basket is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I don't know what to do with it but I love it.
DeleteYour basket is lovely and beautiful colour.
ReplyDeleteLove your new idea, I don't have round for the bottles so its the draw under the bed.
Margaret
Thanks, Margaret. It's just rearranged space for me. And my basement is a disaster!
DeleteI love your basket. So dainty and pretty. When I saw the second photo, I was wondering what they were, some type of candy. Then I read and I am amazed with the size of the pickling jars.
ReplyDeleteThat's America for you, where you can buy everything in bulk! Thank you for your kind words.
DeletePrecioso y buen lugar para almacenar hilos.Besos.

DeleteLove your little basket! And also your jar idea. Mmmm.... got me thinking I need to do a bit of organising in my workshop...
ReplyDeleteA workshop! I can just imagine. The jars are fun though.
DeleteThat basket is so beautiful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering how I could store my threads recently. This could be the one. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun, I wish I could say it was my idea. Thanks!
DeleteLovely basket! And great idea to put the yarns in glass... yet another way to enjoy them!
