nuntium centesimum quinquagesimum secundum- Fox to the rescue!

So, I was worried about that giant feather with the teeny dreamcatchers.  Thank goodness for Fox since I can't think outside the box.  (sheesh, I sound like Dr. Seuss)  She suggested beads!
Tada!

And here are two more dreamcatchers as pendants.  I wonder if they'll sell.

And in other news but still crafty, my elder daughter has been making steampunk jewelry.  She's hoping to sell it on Sunday but is unsure if people will like it.  I think it's wonderful!

  2. The smaller dreamcatchers look great with the beads!! :)
I used to use the smaller hoops like you have, but they quit carrying them around here so I have to use the rings I use for tatting on rings in place of them.
All your dreamcatchers look fabulous!!!!!!!! :)

  3. The dreamcatchers look good. The beads to give it that little extra without the feather - nice idea. I like the steampunk jewelry. If the right people are there I think they'll sell, or at least draw a lot of attention. Good luck to you both!

  4. The beads look great! I had envisioned not hanging beads, but beads placed asymmetrically within the weaving... in bold colours... : ))

Love that pink tree-ish key Steam-punk! Your daughter has definitely inherited some talent. : )

  6. They all look good the steampunk items are so popular nowadays and the dreamcatchers are a classic now, you both should have no problems, unless the place you are going to is not well visited.

  7. All of these items will get a lot of attention! I hope you get a lot of visitors! Will you be demonstrating tatting, too? That's always a 'crowd pleaser'!

I agree with Jane M that your daughter has inherited your talent! Very clever and attractive groupings of elements and beads!

    1. Oh yes, I always want to tat in public and it seems to draw people over. Thank you for your kind words about my daughter's jewelry. I'll tell her, she's a little nervous now.

  11. C'est très original, tu auras sûrement beaucoup de succès. Je ne me rends pas compte si la frivolité est connue aux Etats-Unis, mais quand je fais des démonstrations en France, les gens sont très étonnés. Très peu connaissent.
    Bonne chance!
