nuntium centesimum sextum (106th post) Diane LLL

Well, I didn't get to go to Tollway Tatters but I did get to meet up with Diane the Lace Lovin' Librarian last week and her two lovely daughters.

We had lunch together.  My daughter and I kidnapped Diane and took her to a strange bead place which is just a hop from my house and....

Diane's largesse is astounding.  She gave both me and my daughter the loveliest tins with beads, coordinating thread and the most wonderful hook for beading.

Further proof that I am one spoiled girl!  Thank you, Diane!  It was SO fun to get together with you!

  2. Oh wow! What a wonderful looking gift - I love the red cardinal tin! I'm envious, must be so much fun to get together and tat and chat. And is it one of those tiny latch hooks? They are great.

  3. I had so much fun! I hope that you, Theresa, and Cindy can come visit this summer. I have two guest bedrooms, and I'm pretty sure I could talk the girls into a TT meeting!

I hope you enjoy your little gifts!

  4. Sounds like a great visit! I'm especially envious of that hook! Do you have any idea where Diane obtained that? I will ask her in her blog, but I thought she might have mentioned it to you!

    1. She said she got it at JoAnne's. I'm being good and doing schoolwork first before trying it out!

  5. Thanks so much for the response! Ironically I was in JoAnn's yesterday but never thought they would have anything like that so didn't even look for it! I'll definitely check it out! I DID get my first Aerlit shuttle at Hobby Lobby (they have them in stock now!) and I'm very impressed with it. I also have to discipline myself - to clean up my craft room before I start to 'play' with my new shuttle!
