nuntium septuagesimum tertium (73rd post) TEN!!!!!

TEN - that is the number of middle school students that I taught to tat yesterday.  Every single one of them got the flip!  All of them.  They all made chains of at least 10 ds or more.  Three of them made even made rings.

It was an exploratory learning day- we do this every year- I thought I'd try tatting again.  But this time I got smart and used Tatted Treasures videos (Heather- you are brilliant!).  We started with chains and two colors of thread and that's why it worked.  It was SO exciting!

And they want to meet again- after school on Monday.  We're going to have tatting club!

And then when I got home, there was an envelope from Diane- she is so generous with her thread.  Lookee, lookee- I can't wait to start.
I am so lucky!!
