nuntium undeseptuagesimum (69th post) coccinella

My sweet sister asked me if I could make a ladybug.  I tried to explain that creating a pattern is not my thing.  But I thought about it for a while.  I saw Jon Yusoff's lovely pattern for a daisy and thought a little about the colors and a little addition and came up with this.  What do you think?

And Diane, the Lace Lovin' Librarian sent me the loveliest Oliver Twist thread.  Each sample is just the right size for this Mary Konior cross.

I got one of Lady Shuttlemaker's Quad pens and it's fantastic!  I decided to get some of her gorgeous HDT too and made this MK cross.  The photography does NOT do this lovely thread justice- my apologies!

The crosses turned out very nice, too. Amazing that you received just the right amount of thread for them.
I've been debating about getting a quad pen from LadyShuttleMaker but I haven't broke down and done it - yet:-)
