Baby boy - nuntium trecesimum vicesimum primum

Even though I was really pleased with the Keepsake snowflake, pattern from Carollyn, that I made for baby girl, it was a little too loose for my tastes.  So I took out one stitch per ring in the middle and made this for the other baby.

I haven't heard from either family.  I love tatting them though and hopefully someone will enjoy it.

Baby girl nuntium trecesimum vicesimum

My dear colleague who learned to tat a few years ago asked me about making a "photo frame" for her son's wedding photo.  After a LOT of looking, we'd kind of given up until I saw this on Carollyn's blog.  I knew it was perfect for her to make.  I said I'd make one with her and I'd been thinking about some for two different babies born to two colleagues.  So while she worked on hers, I made this!

Isn't Carollyn brilliant?
