Cindy put together this picture for us so if you see it on her blog, know that I'm the copycat! |
Here's another pin I've made. Somehow I'm not sure of it-why? I don't know. Something just isn't quite there for me.
This one was actually the first one. |
My elder daughter has sold her first piece on Etsy! She is over the moon. I won't mention any names for fear of invasion of privacy but you wouldn't be surprised by this generous tatter's heart. Anyway, each night she reports to me the number of views so if you have nothing else to do, would you go click on her shop? (This is a gorgeous piece that has non-functioning scissors in it.) Thank you!
You copycat, you! Haha - we were having the same fun! I like your pins - keep going. I like the one you wore today best - didn't that one have extra round(s)?
ReplyDeleteYes, one more and then three beads instead of just one at a time.
DeleteIt looks great!! :)
ReplyDeleteSuggestion: maybe overlapping chains somehow to mimic the overlapping parts of the metal??
That's brilliant, I'll have to figure that out!
DeleteI love the pin! If it were me, I would eliminate the picots on the outside round and have perhaps three beads instead.
ReplyDeleteI like that too- I knew if I asked I would get good (certainly better) ideas! Thanks!
DeleteThat's a pin I could fall in love with, and not just because it's blue! I like Fox's idea of eliminating the picots and adding more beads. I love the Celtic knot look!
ReplyDeletePlease tell elder daughter that I am amazed by her creativity, and I love everything in her Etsy shop! Now, how do we combine steampunk and tatting?
I will. Thank you!!!
DeleteI'm going to be different, I like the way it is, not just because it's blue and I like blue but I like the way you have tatted it and the pattern
ReplyDeleteOh thank you! That's reaffirming but I do appreciate the suggestions too!
DeleteI love it too and think you could combine several to make a bracelet too🌹💟🌹
ReplyDeleteInteresting!!!
DeleteGood way to celebrate tatting day! I like your pin as it is, though the other ideas are good too - so you can create a variety of them. I did look at your daughter's etsy page, some lovely things there, good luck to her!
ReplyDeleteWe sure had fun! Thanks for looking, she was so excited last night when she told me how many had visited! (Makes this mom's heart swell to see her happy!)
